Mom's on Call

A lot of the stuff I'm quoting is from a group of 2 Pediatric nurses who started a business called "Mom's on Call" (http://www.momsoncall.com/). They are only in Atlanta, but may have an affiliate or someone they trained that started their own business in your city. Best $300 I spent. They came and did a 2 hour consultation and we've had Binah go from no sleep, eating at all times, indigestion, etc to truly adhering to a schedule for sleeping, playing and feeding. Today she is 11.5 weeks old and she is learning to adjust to her newest schedule (We started a few nights ago) to sleep from 8pm-6:30am. It truly is amazing!

The other option you have and I HIGHLY recommend is buying their book and the products they recommend (the swaddle cloths and the sound machine). You can get it on amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Moms-Call-Guide-Basic-Baby/dp/0800731883. People are going to tell you about Baby Wise, Happiest Baby on the Block, Ferber, etc. Those books are hard to read and manage on your own. The Mom's on Call method combines the best of all the methods and they keep it simple. I was told by 5 different people before I even had Binah to call them! Their book even comes with a DVD where they demonstrate the things they showed us in our in-home consult.
