Week 11: April 20 - 26 (Plum)

Week 11 was one of the most eventful weeks we have had so far. Basically we had another doctor's appointment, I toured a full-day school facility for Poppy, we started telling our close friends (and Yoel's coworkers), went back to the gym, and started finally looking at maternity clothes. It's a miracle I did all this without one day of napping! (It was a crazy busy week at work). Yes, our little one is doing well. We saw the heartbeat and saw our little poppy starting to take the shape of a baby. It's incredible! We thank God everyday for our healthy and happiness. It's never to early to start thinking about what to do with them once you go back to work, so I toured the Weinstein School which is a mile away from our home and one of the most phenomenal schools I have ever seen. Their staff has double the amount of training required by the state. As a one stop community shop, the school has a gymnastics equipment, tennis courts, pool, dance studio, and more which enriches the children's curriculum. It is the one place I can truly leave the little loves of my life and not feel guilty or concern for their safety and well being. It's pretty wild, but we already sent in our application and deposit. We will find out in November if they will have openings in February 2011 - when we would expect to put little one in school. The fun part of this week was finally revealing our great news to our closest friends! We felt ok with this decision since the doctor signed off on the baby's health. Our friends are beyond thrilled! It feels nice to finally tell people and get support. I still don't plan on telling my office till somewhere between week 16-20 (depending on when I show). All in all - a great week!
