Week 26: August 3 - 9 (Eggplant)

Pregnancy is such a blessing. It's so much fun to experience the kicks and eat anything you want :) The one thing that is tough is working like a crazy woman when you're getting bigger. I have been charging over 40 hours a week and I'm exhausted when I get home. In addition to client work, I have my new responsibility that came with my promotion to Consultant Manager and my regular check-in's with my folks. I avoided a seriously large speeding ticket this week which is just a reflection of my speeding days and work schedule. I was a trooper and made it to my company's girl's night outing which was great. It's nice to get out and about since soon enough, that will change too. I had my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their little one over for lunch which made my husband's week since it's been 3-4 months since we've seen our niece and we live in the same town! I also had a chance to go to my friend Brandi's wedding reception. It was nice to get dressed up, wear heels, and go out to a swanky Buckhead establishment for the night. I ran into some old coworkers and they got to gush over my big belly. All in all, a great week!
