Week 32: September 14 - 20 (Large Jicama)

The weeks just keep flying by, although I'm not super excited about the work week - I have a week of training and trying to wrap up a project. I met a rude lady in training who was obsessed with me and my pregnancy. She asked me how much weight I've gained and told me I picked a great time to take my leave since I'll be off for the holidays. I wanted to just punch her, but instead I ignored her. Man the hip pain is out of control. It's extra stiff this week. It must have something to do with baby's position. It is horrible to get up and sit down and walk during my 20 trips to the restroom during the workday. This week is also Yom Kippur which means fasting for everyone, but me. I think I'll go to services, but not push it too much. I got my hair cut which was a treat. It was sort of bittersweet/exciting to talk to my favorite hairstylist, Sevin, and tell her, I guess next time I see you will be in December after the baby is born. She is very excited for me and told me I could do another early appointment during the week and bring the baby in her stroller since it'll be empty and no one will mind. We also had our Maternity Photo Shoot at Oglethorpe University on Sunday. It was so much fun! The photographer who was a new mom herself (mom to a 7.5 month old) was so great and the pictures turned out beautifully. I can't wait to show my little girl one day! It's still way to hot in Atlanta. It was 93 when we did our pictures outside. I'm tired of the heat. I feel great in my pregnancy otherwise, so that's a good thing. I had dinner with my friend Sara this week to celebrate her recent engagement and she was so sweet to invite us to her wedding in Vegas tentatively scheduled for May 2011. Normally I would jump to a decision and say yes or no, but this time I really don't know. Obviously it's not a trip to bring the baby too, but I don't know where we'll be in a few months and how the baby is doing to know if I can leave her for a weekend. Baby should also be proud of her parents that we refinanced that beautiful castle she'll be raised in and had another closing. We're just focused on savings, retirement, and continuing to be responsible - now more then ever.
