Week 36: October 12 - 18 (Cantaloupe)

At this week's Doctor's appointment he examined me and I shot up in the air by 3 feet. How am I going to deliver naturally if I can't even handle that! The exciting news is that he said I'm 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. He is certain this baby will be here by the 1st of November (or in the 39th week). It's exciting, but also so scary. I continue to be stressed over starting the new job, transitioning, and starting those new benefits. I know I'm covered, but seriously, I wish things were simpler. No one at work seems to accept the fact that I'm leaving since they continue to throw things on my plate. I'm really going to have to push back, otherwise, things won't be done and I'll continue to feel pressure. I had intense contractions on Monday the 18th because of all the unanswered questions that HR could not help me with. I am feeling a lot of anxiety these days. It's really happening.
