Week 7: March 23 - 29 (Blueberry)

OMG. Apparently 75% of women suffer from morning sickness, and I am very much one of them. I can't keep anything down, and the only food I want is junky. It's actually pretty disgusting. Oreos, pop-tarts, chocolate chip cookies, doritos, grilled cheese, cereals, chocolate milk - if you are what you eat, this baby is coming out as a candidate for Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. This week was quite trying. We had a wonderful house guest: Kristoff/Flula and we got to see an event he was Emceeing Saturday night. Yoel and I went to Ted's Montana and I ordered a veggie burger - NO onions. I could barely eat that, and barely make up my mind on whether I wanted coleslaw or mac & cheese as my side. I got both and didn't like either. We met up with our friends Michelle & Ami that night. We told them the good news! I really am looking forward to sharing the news. I have a slight complicated work situation so it's more critical then ever to be vigilent with this secret. However, I figured I could tell them since they don't know any of my past or current coworkers and Michelle has gone through 2 pregnancies and could be my mentor. They were thrilled! One by one, it's fun to tell everyone about the little bundle of joy. We also hosted the Seder Monday night at our home and Yoel and I cooked on Sunday. I couldn't stand the site of meat, so he took care of cooking that. The smells were horrific. 5 minutes before our first guest showed up, I was throwing up like a 18 year old who partied to hard the night before. It's a miracle (of Passover!) that I made it through the Seder, and was able to conceal the fact that I was drinking grape juice and not wine. I'm pooped and tired of my stomach being out of balance. I read it gets better in your 2nd trimester and I can't WAIT.
