Week 4: March 2 - 8 (Poppy Seed)

So far so good. There isn't much to report. I still have my appetite, my slim waist, and my energy. All the stuff the books and articles warn me on must not exist (yet?) The highlight of this week was seeing my parents on Sunday, the 7th because we had to drop Simi off at their home. Yoel and I are headed to Miami next weekend, and we decided to tell my parents about the pregnancy. I took a picture of the pee stick when it read pregnant and printed that out and put it in a Grandparent's frame. As my dad was pouring 4 glasses of wine, I gave my parents the gift. They opened it and were very confused. My mom thought the Grandparent's frame was because they're Simi's grandparents. Then once it registered, they pulled the classic Desi Cautiously Optimistic response. They were happy, but of course, warned of saying anything to others till the 2nd trimester, blah blah blah. I guess they've seen many things in their lives - good and bad - when it comes to pregnancy. Yoel drank my glass of wine and that was that. On to the next one.
